At Prairie Spine and Pain Institute, patient experience and happiness is just important as wellness, treatment, and recovery. As our slogan says, “Expert Spine Care… One Patient At A Time,” we strive each and every day to make each patient experience as positive and successful as possible.
Check out what some of our patients have had to say about our work.
I just wanted to sincerely thank you so much for everything that you did for my dad. From getting him in so quickly to see you, to immediately sending him for testing, to also getting him in to see his doctor immediately. Test results are not back yet as to if it is Hodgkin’s. However, the neurological issues were diagnosed today as Guillian Barre Syndrome. All of the doctors we have dealt with so far have said that they don’t know how we got all of those diagnostic tests done but were so happy they were done before he was seen. It has been wonderful for our family, the time, care, and compassion you’ve given and we just wanted you to know how much we appreciate it. God Bless You!

Dr. Kube did a tri-Ievel fusion on my lower back. Other than a little loss of motion, I would say the surgery was a complete success. No more pain! If ever I need more surgery, I want Dr. Kube. Very knowledgeable and precise.
-Robert A. [/one_half] [one_half_last] Dr. Kube, Farrah and Jenny have been excellent in my care. I felt very comfortable at all times. I sure hope someday that Dr. Kube can have Farrah assist him at the surgery place on Knoxville. I would highly recommend Dr. Kube and his staff to anyone.

I came to Dr. Kube’s office in late September 2010, due to the fact that I had hurt my back at work and needed surgery and physical therapy. When you are injured, they say the most important thing is getting you back to good working condition- back to the way you were or as close as they possibly can. What most people don’t realize is that having the proper team – the best team that you can get- working with you and caring for you . That is exactly what I have found at Dr. Kube’s office. The office workers do their best to accommodate their patients. I have learned that they do realize that just because we are hurt and unable to go about life as we once did, we are still human beings. I love working with Jeremy. He just makes you feel good. When you walk in and see his face he is so nice and very flexible. That I do appreciate. He understands that people do have a life outside of physical therapy. He might have a house full yet when I come he still makes me feel like my situation is a priority. He is never discouraged and if he is, he hides it well. My girls out at the front of the office go through great extremes to help me if I have a conflict with my schedule. Dr. Kube is wonderful. He only wants to do what is best for me. To the whole team, I just want to say thanks for everything. I feel so much better. My future in being able to continue to do what I do as far as work is all due to you guys caring enough to be there. I cannot thank you enough – all of you.

[one_half] I am very pleased with the way I was treated . Everyone was real nice. Farrah was real good at getting my prescriptions filled and I did not have to sit in pain. Thank you all.

Feel great! Great staff and doctor.
-Nelson Madtson [/one_half] [one_half_last] I came over to see Dr. Kube and was treated for my problem. We tried physical therapy but that did not work so we cut to the chase and did surgery. I was told everything he was going to do before surgery and went home knowing everything I needed to do after surgery. I was very satisfied with my surgery and the office staff helped answer all of my questions.

I had the best treatment at Prairie Spine and Pain Institute. I think they are the best in Illinois. They treated me with the highest respect. They have the best doctor in Illinois for spine care. They also have the best physical therapist also. I just love the whole team at Prairie Spine and Pain Institute.
-Kevin Young [/one_half] [one_half_last] You won’t find a more compassionate, knowledgeable back surgeon anywhere. He truly cares for all of his patients. His surgical skills are evident in all of his successes. He instills confidence which is so important from a patient’s viewpoint. No downside with Dr. Kube.

I can remember how I felt before I had my surgery with Dr. Kube. I couldn’t walk or sleep. I was in so much pain that I had to take a lot of pain medication. After I had by surgery with Dr. Kube, I felt better. I am six weeks post-op right now with a lot of improvements. I can lift 35 lbs, where before my surgery I could only life 10 lbs. I can walk two miles a day, where before my surgery I could only walk one block. I feel a little better each day. I want to thank Dr. Kube for helping me to be active again.

I was nearly immobile prior to my surgery to fuse my L5-S1 in September 2010. As of March 2011, I am now pain free and have more flexibility than before!
-Thomas Tabor [/one_half] [one_half_last] I had a wonderful experience. My surgery went great. Dr. Kube fixed my back pain. He is very particular and precise. Highly recommended.

My name is Nancy. I am 66 years old. I do not like taking medicine because of side effects and addiction and being allergic. I am afraid of doctors because of past experiences but I was in so much pain I had to go see one. I picked Dr. Kube. My first visit to see him, I thought he would be just like the other doctors. I just kind of looked at him and kept shaking my head no to surgery because your back is a very important part of your body.
Dr. Kube wanted to give me joint injections after x-raying me but I needed a preop exam. My family doctor did not want to get involved because it was my workmen’s comp. I relayed this to Dr. Kube and he was very upset because just because it was workmen’s comp, my own doctor would not get involved.
Dr. Kube made one statement that I could not get out of my head. “Just because it is workmen’s comp and there is a lot of red tape and time involved, it is the patient that is important.”
I started looking at Dr. Kube in a different way. This doctor cares. It is not all about the money and red tape. It is what is going to help ME. There are not many doctors that feel that way anymore. I think they forgot their oaths. Dr. Kube answered all of my questions and I am sure some of them were ridiculous but like I said before, I panic when it comes to doctors. He explained everything to me in words I could understand. He took the time to CARE. He renewed my faith in a doctor. I decided to take the joint injection. He was very gentle and considerate of my fears. I was without pain for the first time in five months. It only lasted six days but it gave him the answers he needed about my back. He referred me to another doctor that would continue to help with pain management. I would recommend Dr. Kube and his staff very highly to anyone and everyone. They are all about the patient.
